Our engines come with a full warranty and are available with complete supply and fit service. We also offer next day delivery and vehicle recovery if your BMW is not driveable. Supplier Notes
This package includes engine supply, fitting, and optional vehicle recovery. The engine comes as a bare unit, and fitting will reuse components from your current engine. Additional charges apply if any ancillaries are unusable. Charges: £2500.00 for the engine, for shipping, £ for fitting, and £300. Fitting is done at our Birmingham facility and includes an exclusive warranty.
Reconditioning consists of?
- Full Engine Inspection.
- The Engine is stripped to component level and Washed and cleansed.
- All Parts Stripped, Tested & Cleaned
- Piston Rings are changed
- Connecting Rods are re-honed.
- The main and big-end bearings are replaced.
- The Oil Pump is reconditioned (Charges apply, it needs to be Changed)
- The Cylinder Head is then stripped down and checked for wear, and cracks.
- Valve guides are checked for wear and replaced as necessary, and valve seats are cut.
- New/re-faced valves are lapped into the cylinder head and vacuum tested.
- The Camshaft is checked for wear.
- The Timing Chain Kit / Timing belt kit has completely changed.
- The engine is then reassembled with new gaskets and seals.
Note: Price is based on your serviceable exchange unit, including crank, head, and block. Replacement of them will be coming on top.
