Engine power is real attraction with luxury interior

Ford Ranger is big in size and available in different models that performs equally well off road and on-road. The engine range comprises of 2.2 four cylinder engine and 3.2 five cylinder TDCi with power of 158bhp and 197bhp. The later engine is one of the many known for their ability to carry load effortlessly. Speed transmissions options are either manual or automatic. Automatic gearbox is quite suitable for the best performance of the motor. But on a hilly tract manual gearbox prove handy to stay with chosen gear.

Fuel consumption is relatively high

The claimed figure of fuel consumption is 8.7 litre for every hundred kilometer but in real time it is close to 10 litres. With a fuel tank of 80 litres you can travel around 800km without stopping for refueling. Driving has always been easy due to Ford’s ability to transport load without struggle. On highway you experience the real power of engine when it moves at great speed though fully loaded. Inside cabin you enjoy tranquility due to low noise of motor and most of wind noise dies down outside.

Double cab offers good storage place

Front row rider and passenger will get safety of head and side airbags. Dynamic stability control and descent control are also part of safety kit available in all models. Bottle holders in doors and storage pockets at base are available for front row. Two cup holders and box with a lid at center are also very useful. For rear seat occupants bottle holders and smaller storage pockets are present in doors. The cup holders are present in folded armrest in the middle. They also get additional space at back of front row seats. In this way the cabin offers a lot of practicality.
