CATA is the codename for the 3.0-litre turbocharged Diesel Audi engine. It is a 2967cc six-cylinder engine with 23 engine vales and a 224hp power. It has a 165kW power in kilowatts and 221bhp in brake horsepower. It has a direct injection using a fuel injector for fuel supply to the engine, as is the case with all Diesel drivers.
Along with the BTR and CRCA engine, this engine also came as an option with the premium Audi SUV, the Audi Q7. It was included first in 2006 and continued till 2015. It was included as an option for those who either weren’t interested or couldn’t afford to buy the high-end V8 Diesel engine.
